Held at Nottingham High School 15th November 2025.
Organised by NPSCA.
Nottinghamshire Under 11s took part entering two teams. It was valuable experience of tournament play for our younger and less experienced players.
Nottinghamshire A team finished in fourth place.
Some notable performances were: Albert F on board one winning three and drawing one; Harry S winning three and drawing one as well on board three; Sai Pranav P was unbeaten on board 4 with four wins and a draw; Milo D and Alikhan K both scored three points, winning two and drawing two.
Oxfordshire won by half a point from Warwickshire as they tied on match points.
Our B Team played opponents who were well above our team in ratings. Notable performances by Noah W and Ian H each had an impressive record both scored 2 out of 4. Krishanth scored 1.5 out of 4.
Our Under 9s suffered from a lack of players on the day. They were two players short so found it difficult to compete.
Only three counties had Girls teams. Sadly Nottinghamshire was one player short therefore they were hindered and so came third. Elizabeth de B played on board one and won two of her four matches.
All games were fifteen minutes plus ten seconds increments which lead to some exciting finishes.
Well done to all our players and the support of the parents too.
