Thirteen teams took part in the first of three NPSCA West League Championship tournaments. Fifty-two players took part. They played three matches each with a rate of play of ten minutes plus a two second increment.
It was the first tournament of the year with a second one scheduled for Tuesday 3rd March at Nottingham High School, and our final tournament in the Summer term at Fernwood Primary School on Tuesday 19th May.
Two Nottingham High School teams, A and B, won all three matches and finished the evening in equal first place. It was a very good performance. Fernwood A are in third place and the NGHS are in fourth.
